Fiona is a NZ Registered Dietitian with over 20 years experience in both adults and children. She works part time in the public health system and runs a Friday clinic at St Martins Medical Centre.
Fiona is happy to see both adults and children and recently held the role of community paediatric Dietitian for Canterbury for 10 years. Fiona is trained and experienced in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to problem eating, and is also a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter.
For adults, Fiona’s practice includes long-term and lifestyle conditions such as cardiovascular disease and Mediterranean diet for inflammatory processes. Fiona has additional qualifications in physical education and low FODMAPs diet for irritable bowel syndrome. She uses a health-at-every-size approach and aligns advice with each person’s unique goals and whanau commitments.
Outside of work, Fiona enjoys the great outdoors on adventures with friends and family, including introducing her young daughter to biking and hiking.
