Lisa began her career as a physiotherapist before retraining in Medicine. She has worked across a variety of hospital specialities and holds post graduate qualifications in Sports Medicine, Child Health, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Lisa has special interests in Youth and Sexual Health, and in Preventive Care. Lisa practices in the area of Sexual Assault and Forensic Medicine alongside her GP role.
Lisa is passionate about equity in healthcare and is committed to providing respectful, inclusive care for all patients, and in improving health outcomes for Māori, Pasifika, and underserved communities. She values the privilege of working alongside patients and their whānau over time, building trust and supporting long-term wellbeing.
Outside of work, Lisa is a mum of three who enjoys getting everyone outdoors – snowboarding, biking, running, and exploring the hills and beaches.
Lisa aims to create a warm, supportive space where patients feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for.
