Dr. Emily Barber

Emily moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2006 after completing her medical training and worked at Christchurch Hospital in various specialities for 4 years.

Emily then completed her GP training and has worked as a GP since 2011. Emily has a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology and a special interest in women’s health. She is a diligent, enthusiastic, motivated doctor who enjoys learning about her patients’ lives and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Emily is married to a Yorkshire man and has two young boys who keep her busy when not at work! She enjoys mountain biking, triathlons and gardening.
