Dr. Stephen Jachacy

St Martins Medical welcomes to Dr Stephen to our team!

Originally from the Scottish Highlands and having studied medicine in Edinburgh, graduating in 2007; Stephen is an experienced New Zealand trained GP returning to Christchurch, after working for 2 years in a high-needs practice in Northland.

He holds GP Fellowship, postgraduate diplomas in travel medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology and tropical medicine and a certificate in dermatology. He also undertakes various minor surgeries and joint injections.

When not at work Stephen spends most of his time with his rapidly growing family. He also plays for the second worst football team in Christchurch and spends any remaining free time thinking about being in the mountains and going skiing.
