Dr. Elizabeth Loudon

Lizzie graduated from Glasgow School of Medicine in 2002 and moved to NZ in 2005 with a plan to work overseas for 2 years, but hasn’t left, at least not permanently!

Lizzie became a GP in 2010 and feels that she has definitely found the right specialty. Lizzie loves getting to know her patients and caring for people and their whanau over years. It is such a privilege that she values greatly. Lizzie is passionate about Primary Care and the important role it plays in our Healthcare system. She has a special interest in Mental Health, Lifestyle Medicine and Health Promotion. In the last year Lizzie has really enjoyed being involved in setting up patient groups as a way to support people’s health.

Lizzie is married to Corey and they have identical twin girls, Eva and Grace. They love spending time being active in the outdoors. Lizzie also loves photography and painting to relax.
